CRAY slipped out of the play-off places when they dropped home points lowly Wingate & Finchley, who had chances in what was a lively game, despite the scoreline.
The visitors dropped to the foot of the table, but only a starman display from Cray keeper Lewis Carey denying them victory.
But they began well when Henry Ochieng shot wide and Bilal Sayoud’s drive which was well pushed over by Carey.
Cray’s best opening of the first half fell to Bradley Pritchard whose goalbound shot was well saved by Gate keeper Shane Gore.
