INCONSISTENT Torquay United claimed a vital three points at Mill Farm at the expense of an AFC Fylde side who just can’t seem to gain momentum to climb out of the relegation zone under manager Jim Bentley.
The Gulls turned the tables on Tom Walker’s opener for Fylde with goals from Asa Hall and Jamie Reid before Ben Whitfield added a third on the hour.
Jordan Williams pulled a goal back for the Coasters 12 minutes from time but it wasn’t enough to rescue Bentley’s side, who are now three points adrift of safety.
