DARLINGTON continued their ascent up the table after completing a league double over Alfreton Town.
They are seventh after a straightforward win at Blackwell Meadows, Adam Campbell with a brace and a late goal by Justin Donawa giving Quakers a sixth win out of their last seven league games.
Campbell scored in each half. The first, an individual effort on 19 minutes, saw him run from near halfway and past a string of half-hearted challenges before shooting across the penalty area and into the net.
