A SECOND-HALF penalty was enough to give Hanwell Town a narrow victory over Barking.
The first real chance fell to Barking after a mix up between keeper and defence allowed the hosts a sight of goal they couldn’t make the most of.
Hanwell began to come into the game with 15 minutes on the clock, but, other than a free-kick, struggled to make any real impression on the Barking goal.
The game’s decisive moment came with the second half still in its infancy when a desperate challenge gave Town a penalty.
