LEAGUE leaders Frome Town cruised to another victory but were made to work for it by Slimbridge.
The fi rst half was a tight affair with both sides having few chances, Marley Thomas intercepting a poor kick from the visiting keeper Kyle Philips but his fi rst-time shot sailed wide.
Home stopper Lewis Adams was called into action on 30 minutes in saving Jonathon Davies’ long range shot.
The Robins were awarded a penalty on 53 minutes when Adams pulled down Davies inside the box, Davies sending the keeper the wrong way to give Frome the lead.
