CHESHAM UNITED kept the pressure on leaders Truro City with an ultimately comfortable victory over play-off chasing Gosport Borough.
The game was not helped by a swirling wind which often meant the ball would not stay on line, in the air or on the ground.
Gosport had the wind in their favour in the fi rst half and had the fi rst chance on goal when a Charlie Davis free-kick was tipped over by keeper James Hoskins, on loan from the Watford Academy.
