KOLE Lambert was at the double as Ilkeston registered a comfortable 2-0 victory over league-leaders Leek Town.
Leek, who still sit eight points clear at the top of the table, were comfortably second-best as Ilkeston registered a first home win since December.
Lambert opened the scoring from inside the box in the sixth minute, after Leek had an effort blocked two minutes before.
Leek looked like they had equalised in the 34th minute as the ball was deflected over Ross Durrant’s head, but the goalkeeper recovered to spring up and clear the ball away.
