JONES FIRES LATE TO EARN REBELS A POINT

TWO of the NPL’s promotion hopefuls served up an eight-goal thriller in front of over 2,000 fans - most of whom went home happy after FC United snatched a point with virtually the last kick of an absorbing game.
Curtis Jones’ last-gasp header earned a share of the spoils for an FC United side who had earlier seen a two-goal lead slip from their grasp.
The hosts opened the scoring on nine minutes when Morgan Homson- Smith’s free-kick deflected past a helpless Bobby Jones.
