HEMEL snatched all three points at the death through James Dobson but on the balance of play the Tudors deserved the victory.
Hemel had the first opportunity when Sam Ashford missed his kick after good work by Connor Essam, then Mathew Briggs had a chance for Dorking when he was put into space but Daniel Grimshaw just did enough to deflect his shot wide.
The game was very much end to end in the first period, Ashford saw a shot saved by Sam Howes before Briggs had another good effort saved by Grimshaw.
