MERSTHAM were unable to claw themselves out of the bottom three when Bognor came back from two goals down in an entertaining game, which both sides may think they should have won.
The Moatsiders dominated the opening exchanges and ex-Merstham keeper Amadou Tangara made two good stops, including a superb point-blank save to deny Omar Folkes.
They deservedly led on 18 minutes when Bobby Mills found the bottom corner.
And they added a second when Mitchal Gough powered a header home from a corner in the 38th minute. But MERSTHAM were unable to claw them...
