MANOR’S PLEA FOR GROUND REPAIRS

SOUTHEND Manor have issued an SOS appeal to raise £10,000 to pay for vital repairs to their Southchurch Park clubhouse.
The 65-year-old club needs to find £25,000 to tackle erosion to the building’s floor and its leaking roof which appeared during the winter rains.
A section of the clubhouse has been fenced off, limiting Manor’s ability to hire out the venue to raise much-needed funds, and the club are worried that the damage could also impact on their Essex Senior League status.
