NO-GO: South Shields have been denied promotion

SOUTH Shields chairman Geoff Thompson is taking a keen interest in what steps the National League take to complete their season.
It was announced on Wednesday that clubs at Steps 1 and 2 had voted overwhelmingly to cancel their outstanding fixtures for the season.
The next step is a now second vote to decide promotion and relegation issues, whether it be on a points-per-game basis or on current league positions.
A third option would be to follow the example of the move taken for leagues at Steps 3-7 by voiding the season ...
