BRACKLEY Town have asked the National League to decide the northern half of Step 2 with an eight-team play-off.
Just 11 points separate leaders York City from Spennymoor Town in sixth, whilst seventh-placed Chester City and eighth-placed Gateshead both have games in hand over their rivals.
“The season is a long way from done,” said Saints boss Kevin Wilkin, whose side sit six points behind York in third.
