JIMMY McNeil has been named as the new manager of Northern Counties East Premier side Bottesford Town, assisted by former Scunthorpe United team-mate Paul Ellender.
McNeil, who also played for Brigg Town and Goole Town, has replaced John Corbett and his assistant Leigh Herrick, who have left Bottesford after eight years to become part of Curtis Woodhouse’s backroom team at Gainsborough Trinity.
