BRANDON United can now see light at the end of the tunnel – thanks to a £50,695 Football Foundation grant.
Last October, the floodlights at the Northern League Division Two outfit’s Welfare Ground were badly vandalised.
Now they have been given the money, not only to replace the lights, but also to upgrade the electrical wiring to the clubhouse and team changing rooms.
Long-term club sponsors Harvey Electrical from Darlington have been appointed to the work, which has been scheduled to take place in the next coming weeks.
