CHESTER’S joint bosses Bernard Morley and Anthony Johnson are still waiting to hear what their budget is for the new season despite supporters rasing £115,000.
The Blues lost to Altrincham in the playoffs last month and are already preparing for the upcoming campaign.
But, despite the fans’ generosity, Johnson and Morley seem set to have to work with a lower budget than last term and so they have delayed opening talks with potential new signings until they have more certainty.
