TWO players from the Northern Counties East League have raised more than £2,500 for Macmillan Cancer Support after by completing a coast-to-coast walk of nearly 70 miles.
James Eyles, who plays for Emley AFC, and Liversedge’s Joe Walton, set up an online fundraising page with a target of £500.
They decided to raise funds after Joe’s mum Kath tragically passed away from cancer nine years ago while James’ auntie Diane is currently undergoing treatment in America.
