HERO DOC DAVE SAVES THE DAY

ARLESEY Town keeper Dave Jones has been lauded as a ‘hero’ after saving an opposition player’s life last Sunday - and he’s even got a new nickname!
The shot-stopper works as a doctor in his day job and was able to perform CPR on a 49-year-old man playing for Sheffield Veterans against Arlesey’s Sunday league outfit.
Jones has been thanked for saving the man’s life while his teammates accessed the defibrillator on site.
