HIGHLY-RATED striker Lorrell Smith has put pen to paper on a deal at AFC Rushden & Diamonds after impressing on trial.
Diamonds boss Andy Peaks landed his man after Tuesday’s narrow 1-0 defeat to National League newcomers King’s Lynn Town at Hayden Road.
Smith, 24, joined National League North Brackley Town last December from Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division outfit Biggleswade United where he remained dual registered.
