CRAIG Mackail-Smith has returned to his Non- League roots by signing for Bedford Town - and the veteran striker can’t wait to get going.
The 36-year-old started his career at St Albans City and Arlesey Town, where he was picked up by Dagenham & Redbridge in the Conference.
His goals alerted League One Peterborough United as he embarked on a Football League career that took him to the Championship with Posh and Brighton & Hove Albion.
