JORDAN Hulme made a shock move to AFC Fylde on the eve of the new season after Altrincham reluctantly accepted a ‘substantial offer’.
The 29-year-old helped Alty to two promotions in three years by scoring 70 goals in 139 appearances.
He had recently signed a new two-year deal to stay at the National League club but the lure of fulltime football at Fylde, coupled with an acceptable offer, proved too much.
Altrincham say they will reinvest all of the proceeds into the team.
