OXFORD City have landed something of a coup after signing teenage striker Jacob Bancroft following his release by League One Swindon Town.
The youngster comes in to bolster David Oldfield’s attacking options before they kick-off the National League South campaign at home to Bath City on Tuesday. He joins following a successful trial.
The 19-year-old had loan spells at Salisbury FC, Wantage Town and Thatcham Town last season and featured in all four of City’s pre-season friendlies.
