KEEPER Lewis King proved the hero with two penalty saves as Stafford Rangers edged out Buxton.
In an evenly contested tie, neither side made enough clear-cut chances to guarantee victory and the highest drama was reserved for added time.
Buxton’s Tom Elliott was bowled over in a one-onone with the ball nowhere near but ref Matthew Mc- Quillan denied the claims.
Rangers had their best chances in the first half with Joe Cuff twice sending angled shots across the face of goal and Callum Coyle shooting wide.
