REECE Beckles-Richards’ late goal sent Cheshunt third as they overcame a Bognor side inspired by keeper Amadou Tangara.
The Ambers were solid and the Rocks got no change from Taylor McKenzie and Adam Crowther at the heart of the home defence.
And the major talking point of the first half came when Bognor centre-back Ethan Robb hauled back Cheshunt’s David Knight as he raced through on goal but only saw yellow for his trouble.
The second half continued the pattern.
Cheshunt pressed Bognor high up the pitch and forced a number of errors.
