JOE AGUNBIADE rescued a point for Grays in a forgettable match at Parkside.
The game lacked energy and spark throughout, with little to excite the large crowd.
Romford went in front after 16 minutes from a debatable free-kick, the ball was launched forward, where Lee Newton was quickest to the ball to put Boro ahead.
Agunbiade levelled the scores on the stroke of halftime for a weakened Grays side missing seven regulars, drilling a shot into the bottom corner.
The second period was a lacklustre affair, chances came and were scorned, with Romford seeing a dubious penalt...
