CHERTSEY powered back strongly after a series of poor performances to overwhelm Hertford Town.
Pressure began immediately, and told with Jake Baxter’s half-volley after 15 minutes.
Hertford struck back ten minutes later with their only strike at goal, as Samuel Faniyan found space, before curling the ball around Nick Jupp. Any joy was short-lived, as Gary Abisogun restored the advantage for Chertsey.
