HARRY Franklin netted a hat-trick as Evesham withheld a late Leek Town rally to go through. It was the home side that took the lead in the 14th minute when Franklin evaded his marker and slotted home.
Evesham doubled their advantage in the 25th minute when another powerful strike from Franklin found the net.
Right at the end of the first half a serious injury to Leek’s Rob Stevenson meant seven minutes were added on. Leek started the second half the stronger side, but went a further goal behind when Franklin completed his treble after 58 minutes.
