HASTINGS UNITED progressed after overcoming Ashford Town (Middlesex) with a 4-2 penalty shoot-out following their 1-1 draw.
In wet and windy conditions, United controlled the first-half but had to wait for Ryan Worrall to open the scoring with a well-struck low shot, which went in off a post, on the cusp of half-time.
