CHARLIE WALKER hit two as Eastbourne Borough moved up to fourth with a resounding win over Braintree.
The Sports had an early chance when Walker skewed his low effort just wide of the post.
Neither team really tested the keeper in the early exchanges.
Dean Cox’s ball over the top played in Greg Luer, but his effort was straight at Iron keeper Preston Edwards.
But the breakthrough duly came for the hosts after 35 minutes when Kai Innocent teed up Cox, who took one touch before firing past Edwards with his left foot from twelve yards.
