SKIPPER’S UPGRADE

HUNTINGDON Town have placed club captain Wilkins Makate in charge of the team after boss Laurence Revell quit.
Revell, brother of Stevenage manager Alex Revell, resigned from the United Counties Division One outfit to “pursue other football-related interests,” said a club statement.
“We thank Laurence and his team for their work and dedication,” it added.
Makate has been with Huntingdon for four seasons and was Revell’s choice for the job.
