DARYL McMahon joked some of his players might have over-indulged at Christmas after Dagenham & Redbridge made hard-work of ten-man Dover Athletic.
The Daggers ultimately registered back-to-back league wins for the first time since September 2019 thanks to Angelo Balanta’s thumping header 67 seconds after half-time.
In their first league game in 35 days, gutsy Dover played nearly an hour with ten men after Josh Passley was sent off against his former club.
