■NATIONAL League North Gloucester City are going for Gold – with a new striker in tow.
The Tigers have completed the signing of 27-year-old front man Gold Omotayo in a bid to preserve their storming start to the season.
The former Yeovil Town hitman left FC Halifax Town in late- October following a short stint with the National League side.
He joins Paul Groves’ team after impressing on a recent trial. Groves is looking for Omotayo to fill the void vacated by Akwasi Asane, who joined former boss James Rowe at Chesterfield.
