SOUTHEND Manor is to become the base of a major new post-16 football and education programme in the town.
Students will represent Ipswich Town Community Trust in an Elite fixture programme, competing against clus such as Crystal Palace, Charlton Athletic and Brentford.
They will study for a NCFE Diploma in Sports & Physical Activity, while training and playing at Southchurch Park under UEFA A Licence coaches.
