THERE were times towards the end of Josh Gowling’s playing career when it just didn’t feel the same.
“When I won at Wembley with Grimsby there wasn’t much more I needed to do in my career,” he told The NLP of his 2016 Conference playoff final success against Forest Green Rovers.
“I was playing it out and doing my best as always, but management has given me a different focus, a different goal to attain.”
