Fantasy Non-League Update – April 17, 2021

Welcome to the latest update of Fantasy Non-League 2020/21. Today’s update covers the seven-day period Sunday 11th April 2021 through to Saturday 17th April 2021.

It has certainly been a very strange FNL season, and I am sure all of you like me will be looking forward to next season. As you all know we only have one league running and of course two other teams outside of the Hereford & Hornchurch who make up the final of this season’s Final. Remember last season’s FA Trophy Final that is being played at Wembley at the beginning of May 2021 does not feature in this season’s FNL competition.

Because of the late start of this season’s competition the substitution deadline was a month later than normal at the end of January 2021 and sadly a lot of clubs had finished playing. Outside of the National League the following clubs have managed a few points.

National League North – AFC Fylde, Blyth Spartans, Brackley Town, Chorley, Darlington, Gloucester City, Hereford, , and York City.

– Billericay Town, , Concord Rangers, Dartford, Dorking Wanderers, Eastbourne Borough, Ebbsfleet Utd, Hampton & Richmond, Havant & Waterlooville, Hemel Hempstead, Hungerford Town, Maidstone Utd, , St. Albans City, and Welling Utd.

Northern Premier – Mickleover FC and .

Isthmian Premier – Hornchurch, Mertsham and Worthing.

Southern Premier Central – Barwell, Coalville Town and Peterborough Sports.

Southern Premier South – Beaconsfield Town and Poole Town.

The Mixture – Wisbech Town and Cirencester Town.

I have been asked by a couple of players, are Dover Athletic still being classed as the bottom club in the National League and the answer to that is yes. Even though their playing record for this season has been wiped clean, as far the FNL 2020/21 world is concerned they are still being counted as the bottom club and they points still count.
