HORSHAM boss Dom Di Paola has asked the FA for clarity on Covid-19 rules ahead of the new season – amid fears that self-isolation guidance could be exploited.
Cases are on the rise across the UK, and several pre-season friendlies have been cancelled due to players either testing positive or being forced into self-isolation following a ‘ping’ from the track and trace app.
Di Paola was missing a number of first-teamers for the recent 5-0 defeat to Crawley Town and worries that a similar situation in a competitive game could encourage dirty tricks.
