DEADLY Dan Sweeney netted a brilliant free-kick to scoop the spoils against Hitchin.
The Reds ace, who is better known for tormenting defenders with his lightning pace, instead used his dead-ball skills to devastating effect as he curled in the winner on 77 minutes.

It was a deserved reward for Matt Clarke’s side who had hit the woodwork four times and survived a nervy finish to chalk up the perfect start to their league campaign.
Sweeney was United’s most threatening player and broke the deadlock with a neat finish on 26 minutes.
