A BUMPER four-figure crowd celebrated a triumphant homecoming for Worthing who hit four past ten-man Bowers and Pitsea.
The Rebels were back in competitive action at Woodside Road for the first time since March 2020.
And they had the dream start when Dean Cox’s cross from a short corner routine was turned into the bottom corner by Ollie Pearce in the tenth minute.
Bowers levelled four minutes later when Max Cornhill robbed Marvin Armstrong in his own half and fed Bradley Sach who dinked in his third goal of the season.
