CANVEY came from behind to beat Waltham Abbey and book their place in the hat for the next round.
Abbey took the lead just before the half-hour mark. Ace’a Laurent picked the ball up 25 yards out and curled a stunning effort into the top corner.
The hosts levelled just past the hour, when a corner found Matt Price at the back post. His header back across goal was nodded off the line, but the loose ball fell straight to Evans Kouassi, who drilled it home from 12 yards.
