■ BINFIELD’S first-ever away game in the Pitching Isthmian League proved a great success.
All the goals came in the first half. It had been an even start with visiting goalkeeper Harvey Rackley-Hayes’ flying save to deny Matteo Esposito the main chance.
But after 20 minutes, a mix-up with a back-pass presented Sam Moore with an open goal and Binfield were in front. Ten minutes later, Moore turned provider when heading a deep cross back into the danger area and Liam Tack swept home.
