HITCHIN TOWN unveiled their very own FA Cup ale at their home clash with Biggleswade Town to celebrate 150 years of the competition.
Hop Field 1871 – brewed by Garden City Brewery – was on offer at yesterday’s first round qualifying tie to commemorate the Southern League club’s own special part of history.
The Canaries were one of only 15 of the then-50 member clubs who chose to enter the first FA Cup in 1871.
