“THAT was a proper away day today”, purred Boreham Wood boss Luke Garrard after Tyrone Marsh’s stoppage-time winner took his Boreham Wood, albeit momentarily, to the top of the National League.
Twice Bromley led, courtesy of goals from Scott Boden and Josh Rees, but both times Wood pinned them back through Billy Bingham and Michael Cheek.
But Marsh’s breakaway goal in the second-minute of time added on sealed a memorable win for the Wood which leaves them second on goal difference.
