■ PONTEFRACT held on for a point despite going down to ten men in the battle between the two West Yorkshire sides.
Brighouse were the brighter in the first half but it took until the second half for them to open the scoring.
A well-worked ball down the right was crossed in by Jack Boyle and headed home by Tom Haigh five minutes after the break.
Pontefract were soon level when Vaughan Redford headed in off a post after a fine move down the left.
