■ WARE won this game comfortably but it took a while to impose themselves on the contest. After taking the lead through Albert Adu they slowly lost the midfield battle and Abbey equalised just before the break when Mark Twumasi’s shot was turned past the unsighted Brad Robinson.
Ware were back in control in the second half and soon in front again thanks to Leigh Rose’s header. They couldn’t add any more however until the last moments. By then injuries had reduced Abbey to nine men with all substitutes used. Ware’s third c...
