■ ABBEY RANGERS started the match brightly and following a quick break Simon Grant made a smart save.
The deadlock was broken in the 33rd minute with a driving run by Junaid Bell who then played a through ball to Nnamdi Nwachuku to slot the ball home
In first-half injury-time Devontae Romeo picked up a second booking for a marginally late tackle and was sent off. In the 60th minute Nwachuku shot just over the bar from outside the box.
Abbey had the perfect opportunity from a freekick, but Curtis Chapple made a great block to keep the score at 1-0.
