■ A red-blooded cup tie saw plenty of drama, but honours even at the conclusion.
A serious injury to Kings’ full-back Gary Connolly meant an eight-minute stoppage.
However, his brother Kyle put the finishing touch to a four-man move, six minutes after the restart, by lashing the ball home after Leo Farruch’s header was blocked.
Leiston got back into the game in time added on when a square ball resulted in Finlay Barnes’ audacious lob finding the net.
