KINGSTONIAN moved three points clear at the top thanks to a dominant second-half display against manager Hayden Bird’s previous club.
Centre-back Ollie Cook bagged a second-half brace after Merstham had the best of the first half.
Ks’ Nyren Clunis fluffed his lines four yards from a gaping goal on 14 minutes, while Mersthan’s ever-threatening number nine John Ufuah brought two fine saves from Ks keeper Rob Tolfrey on 15 and 26 minutes.
