A TONY Lee double secured three points for Poole in a game played in appalling weather.
Poole made the brighter start with chances for Lee, Brooklyn Genesini and Luke Holmes within the first 20 minutes but all failed to convert.
In between, Tyrone Lewthwaite had a great chance one on one with Mark Childs but was thwarted by the keeper, while Callum Webb saw his ambitious effort go inches wide. Beaconsfield improved as the half pro-gressed with Lewthwaite hitting the bar while Scott Donnelly’s long-range shot went just wide.
