LYE TOWN stormed to the top of the table thanks to a 2-0 triumph over former leaders Boldmere St Michaels as they inflicted a first defeat of the season on their visitors.
Super Sam Tye opened the scoring for the Black Country outfit just before the interval and the points were wrapped up ten minutes after the break when Adam Meacham netted for the hosts.
