STOURBRIDGE made a super start to life under the new management duo of Leon Broadhurst and Stuart Pierpoint by pulling off a compelling victory over a lacklustre Lowestoft.
Despite a third minute header from central defender Harry Knights, which finished up on the roof of the Stourbridge net, Lowestoft hardly had an effort on goal while Stourbridge grew in confidence.
Namesake Darryl Knights fired Stour in front on 15 minutes after a sublime pass from James McQuilkin was threaded through the Lowestoft defence.
